In July 2014, the Mediation Council started, together with S.C. ALMARO Training S.R.L. the procedures for elaborating the “Strategy regarding the mediation and the development of the mediators’ profession in Romania for 2014 – 2020”.
Based on a qualitative and quantitative research (study of the field’s legislation, the implementation mechanisms at a national, european and international level, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, workshops, online public consultation and debates) the document will include the impact analysis of the Strategy regarding the mediation and the development of the mediators’ profession in Romania for 2008 – 2013, will describe a series of objectives and action strategies for development of mediation and the mediators’ profession for the following yeast and will include a measures plan for 2014 – 2017.
The strategy will take into consideration the opinions expressed by the involved social actors (Mediation Council, professional association of mediators, authorized mediators, training suppliers, the presidential institution, representatives of the Government, Parliament and the judicial system, parliamentary political parties, academic environment, liberal professions’ organisations and those of the social society), correlated with the development directions of the EU countries and will be the fundament of future actions of the Mediation Council.
The development of the strategy will take place between July and November 2014.
